Sandro Madeira Humann (he / him) is a travel entrepreneur and expert in Tourism with nearly 25 years of experience in the field: at destination management companies (DMC’s), airlines, 4 and 5* hotels, educational travel agencies and Spanish language schools, and, at present, he manages a small boutique eco-apartment in Barcelona old town Barcelona’s ”old town” historical district (El Borne)  as front of house. Yök casa + cultura offers since 2014 a different way of lodging, bringing the real Barcelona closer to the visitors.

At the same time Sandro also works as a professional travel guide in the city and beyond, having founded his own business in 2016: Barcelona Plan·It which offers private customized ´slow´city walks and experiences focused on the local culture and gastronomy.

He studied Linguistics in the Universität Hamburg in Germany, but as his professional experience in Tourism developed over the years he specialized himself (dont need the word himself)in the travel branch. 

Sandro is a cross-cultural communicator, a skilled creative writer, translator, interpreter and a foreign language enthusiast. He speaks 6 foreign languages, (and has grown…)he has grown up in a multicultural family in Brazil and has lived also in Germany and now Spain, where he settled down back in 2005. Like a true renaissance man, Sandro has also dedicated part of his life to the art of yoga. He received his certification to teach Ashtanga Yoga. In addition to his experience teaching in multiple yoga studios throughout Barcelona, he also provides private yoga instruction mixed with Brazilian animal flow technique Biogym.
